(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

anyone already have bell service can take advantage of the CITY FIDO by calling the customer service and tell them that you want to cancel the service with Bell
they will match the deal and the plan with CITY FIDO for $50 a month

false information here.

how do you confirm that was the wrong information
Bell also gonna come out with the new plan for $65 (not inclueded 6.95 system access fee) for unlimited local calling for new customer

i'm working at a FIDO store and that's what FIDO rep told me

Posted by: TheInterloper

Im not sure how she did this but my mom got a plan for $60 which includes unlimited local calling and SAF without being a Fido customer.

Posted by: Dreaderus

did we not have this scenerio in another thread? if you work for a store, and you are communicated information, you don't run to howard forums and post this.

She prob signed up for the ULC65 plan in the 2-3 days where it was offered and has a Bell Bundle discount, either that or she heard wrong and its $65 not $60

Posted by: TheInterloper

No, she got the plan after ULC65 had expired and the plan is $60 as I mentioned.

even i work for a Fido store but i just want to tell you what i know
i don't want to lie or hiding something that people should know

Posted by: Dreaderus

but you started the thread with false information, there is no saleable $50 unlimited local calling plan, nor is there one for $65 currently, that was expired on june 8th.

Where your info is coming from, its certainly not been communicated to the public yet, therefore, it should not be posted here.

This offer was applicable to ONLY current fido customers, and was not to be advertised,
Dreaderus had it right, IF U WORK FOR A BELL STORE DO NOT COMMUNICATE INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS ON THIS SITE. REMEMBER a word called DISCLOSURE, PRIVACY ACT... certain things are not supposed to be made public. Also telling a customer they can call up and switch an existing plan to a fido swicth offer if they ××××× is wrong. Its almost as bad as doing a new activation for a hardware upgrade customer, and telling the customer to suspend or cancel their existing phone line and sign up on a new plan.

my bud was on a 2 year contract with bell on that 35 dollar plan, he called em and asked for the unlimited calls plan and they moved him to it,he said its $65 bux a month...

so the plan does exist..

It did, for a very short period of time. It does no longer.

The fido convert plan is a different plan which was widely advertised and I believe is not offered anymore either.

The differences were:
The Fido Convert plan was $50/mo and it was for customers converting from Fido and opening a brand new line with Bell (required you to provide a recent invoice and hand in your Fido handset I believe)

The other plan was offered FOR A VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME (3 or 4 days in the first week of June, wish I had the actual dates) available to both new activations (non fido converts) and existing customers and it was $65/mo. That second one would be the one that was not supposed to be openly communicated to customers.

It doesnt matter anyways since the $65 is not available anymore. Anyone that claims they have switched to it recently I CHALLENGE you to PM your cell number to one of the many Bell CSRs that lurk in the forums (if one of you could identify yourself that would be great) otherwise quit trolling cause we all know ur full of it. So if your gonna follow up with a typical "oh yeah, well my grandaddy knows Michael Sabia and he got this plan yesterday" than put your money where your mouth is

once again please stop misinforming the good people of this forum

Dreaderus

Posted by: mau108

uh, he switched over few days ago...
did they stop it within the last few days?

Posted by: Dreaderus

I would have him confirm this, currently impossible to do what you are saying trust me on that one.

I have the Unlimited Plan with Bell and if they allow me to keep it they will have a customer for life..

It's the $50.00 for unlimited but I did take a bunch of extra features such as Message Pro for $10.00, Wap Browser for $5.00 and the Weeekend LD at $5.00.

Posted by: dav1209

atleast i didn't give the wrong information

thanks GaDgEtMoN for confirm my information and
Dreaderus next time if you don't know it's true or not take a look or ask people around . Don't be so mean to people like that
i'm not working for Bell but i have someone told me about that information so i think it's good to let people know
even it's said not to be advertise but didn't say that i can tell other people.
they not allow me to advertise the information but to tell my friends is ok
those company been making so much money and ripping their customer off for so long
thank to FIDO to bring such a good plan for the users
