Hey all!
Was brrowsing versiontracker today and found a tool called BluePhoneMenu 1.2.7. I have made a quick desktop vid of it in action. Basically is an extension to the Address book Bluetooth capabilities.. quite nice. I am posting it here as this is the type of APP the UIQ folks would enjoy

from the site:

BluePhoneMenu is a small application that adds Caller ID and SMS functionality to your menu bar and desktop using your Bluetooth enabled phone.

BluePhoneMenu keeps a log of who's called at your fingertips, allowing you to call back or SMS a reply directly from the menu. You can also monitor the current signal strength and battery power of your phone or phones.

Advanced auto-completion lets you call or SMS anyone in your Address Book by typing the first few letters of their first or last name, nickname or email address.

Actually, we have something that's like FMA, it's called Salling Clicker:

But it really goes far beyond FMA in features, capabilities and functionality.

Bluephonemenu is great, I use it currently. I wish I had a current ibook that had the built in bluetooth module, cause the usb bluetooth adapter that I have is quite wide that it ends up covering my other usb port on my ibook and that is just lame.

In any event, bluetooth is great and I can't imagine ever getting a phone in the future that doesn't have that connectivity option.
