Hi, I'm going to Hong Kong in a month, and interested in bringing a phone back to Los Angeles to use.

Question is, should all unlocked tri-band phones in HK work with AT&T (my current carrier and will start GSM in LA on 8/20) over here?

Also, does anyone know if I can just get a SIM card from AT&T here since I don't really need a phone from them? Would they sell that to me?

Also, is WAP going to work as well?
