i830 songs cutting out, wallpapers not loading

I finally got webjal 03 working after much toil & trouble, but whenever i use it, it loads songs that cut out, and doesn't load the wallpaper properly. The free memory on my phones drop, but they won't appear on the wallpaper list. (Same problem for i730 & i830).

I've tried rolling back to the older IUSB.dll file, as we had to in 02, but just get the message saying "this phone is not compatible with the version of webjal" (which hey, that may help some looking for answers).

I've tried using a different data cable (an i730 one as opposed to a modded i90 one), still no luck.

Anyone have any ideas?

You sure those wallpaper's are the correct size 125x125. and in gif format. The ringtone are only supose to be about 30 sec or so in midi format type 0.

hey, thanks for the response.

all gifs are under 15k, and 125x125. It seems to be a different problem than the others are having with gifs not appearing, because the ringtones don't load properly either (they appear, but just keep cutting in and out)

I havn't tried a MIDI yet, only wav. I'll try that, and try re-installing webjal tomorrow.

Sucks, .02 worked fine, it's a new problem with .03.

Keep you posted, anyone else have any ideas, or is this at least happening to anyone else? (With the ringtones cutting in & out AS WELL?)

make sure that they are not saved as "interlaced", that will f*** em up.

disp; i've been making them myself, but they worked fine on my i730, i'll try one that's posted here...

i've tried papers that have been posted and still no luck - they just don't show up.

so, the ringers play for 3 seconds, cut out for 10, then play the last 3 seconds of the song (for a 16 or 17 second song)

fcuked.

update: i've tried using a i730, and the same thing happens. i've tried webjal in a different computer, same thing happens. i've tried it on another i830, same thing happens. i've tried with a different usb cable, same thing happens.

today i'll try with a serial cable, and mabye i'll try with a stock install of webjal using the motorola username/password given to me as a developer. this is totally screwed up - i can't beleive that no one else is having the same problems with the ringtones...

I did Vinnycuz's webjal server and was working fine with my i730. Then I had to do a friends i830. I just switched the verisons of webjal and that bad boy still works like a charm. I reccomend u guys try it.

Same problem here with my i830, the songs cut out. Same problems with wallpapers not showing up either and they meet the required specs. Can anyone tell me how to delete the files off the phone if I cant see them on the phone? They are taking up memory that I would like to reclaim. Thanks in advance.

Alright I just had the same problem, but I did figure out a fix. I was using WebJAL, so i tried using ×××××. I transfered one over at a time and they all work fine. I don't know why this worked, but it did.

I got mine to work too! I uninstalled my Webjal and installed it and then downloaded another copy of it (cant remember where from) and after installing the new copy, it worked. It's even the same version number. I have no idea what the difference was, but it seemed to be the Webjal I had originally installed corrupted the files. Now the wav files play fine, even the wallpapers work.

every since i downloaded UFN webjal it does the same thing, ringers play for 7seconds and cut out, and i cant even load my wallpapers no more, it will load than say general communication error. anyone no a better site where i can get another webjal? that would really be appreciated. TIA!

the wallpapers have to be in gif format and under 16**k and the songs have to be in 30sec clips and in wma format they're should be no problem unless you already have to many... other than that i cant think of an issue

i had the same issue. clik on the link, and it will redirect u 2 these other webjal downloading sites. once u have webjal, jus look for a good patch. any patch that has an ideninsider patch is no good.

i have the same problem.
i have the i830 andthe ringtone play only 5 sec' dont' know way, im

all day long

and i cant load wallpapers ther is a whit backround after the load.

can any one help me pleas??
