I used my own voice to make a personalized .mp3 ringer!!

So - following directions elsewhere in this forum about settings you need your .mp3 to be at to play as a ringer (Mono, sample rate of 16,000 and 24bit encoding), I used my Mac G4 with OSX to record a ringer (using Audio Recorder for Mac) that says "Joe, you have an incoming call". Then, I use Audacity (PC or Mac) or Cacophony (Mac) to clean it up and get effects I want and add it several more times so it is about 1 minute long total and repeats the message. I save it as .mps and I import it into iTunes using the suggetsed settings (go under Preferences>Importing>Custom settings to get the correct settings ready as specified above and elsewhere for correct .mp3 settings). I then add it to iTunes and then convert it to .mp3 and BAM - I have a voice ringer specific to me.

This was just a test to see if I could do it. Now, I need some hot chick to record the message and that will be cool.

Actually the thought alone of moaning or something similar coming out of the phone that would rise a very peculiar look from the near bystanders (haven't tried yet), puts my head to think of what he said, at first I thought was

rollin on the floor, it's kinda funny just to hear the idea.

Sidenote: hhhmmmm I shall talk to some of my girls and see which one would be will to do it.

LOL, it's a big thing going on around my friends cause of an inside joke, but I have my slider set so that all the girls in my phonebook are classify as Business, and i set my biz ringtone to be recorded piece of that I had one of my friends do for me where it goes something like "YES YES, (moan) YES (MOAN)...U R SO GOOD..."
The first time It rang was the best of all cause I was standing in line for at a starbucks gettin something and this thing started going off

then everybody didn't stop staring cause of the phone and the ringtone itself.

Funniest thing though is that when i got to the register and ordered a 'tall soy no foam w/mint tepid hot chocolate', the girl looked at me and said "wow im kinda new here and i still can't follow that....you R good!!!" LOL, that made my WEEK LOL. Just thought about sharing this.
