MPx200 calendar - do notes synchronize?

One of my big disappointments with my Nokia 3650 is that it will not sync notes attached to Calendar entries in Outlook. Does the Moto MPx200 allow this?

I'm getting excited about the new MPx100 too - it seems like an awesome package, but I'd like to see overall better PDA functionality than my 3650.

No one uses the calendar function??

I think it should sync the notes. I was looking through some info, and "Notes" is one of the fields listed for the Calendar app. On my 3650, which doesn't sync notes, Calendar does not include a "Notes" field at all. So I'm guessing the MPx100 or MPx200 should have the feature. It'd be nice to confirm!

The mpx-200 won't sync notes. (go figure) I believe there's an aftermarket appl that'll add that function. Try looking on handango. The calendar sync feature works pretty good.

Wow - that IS strange considering there is a "notes" field within Calendar on the phone. Oh well - thanks for answering!

The "notes" field in Calendar entries syncs on my Smartphone 2002.

"Notes" (the things that look like yellow Post-Its in Outlook) do not sync w/o 3rd party software.

And lastly, Voice Memos on the phone don't sync anywhere up to the PC.

Are the voice memos on the mpx200 easily accesssible? I mean when you are in a conversation on the phone with someone can you easily record it? Is it simple to do with a click of a button?

You can't record conversations. While in a phone call, the RECORD button doesn't do anything when pressed.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I had read that Outlook Notes do not sync, so I was cool with that. But I really wanted the Calendar Notes to sync! Now someone just start cranking out the MPx100s !!

Then can you put the caller on speaker phone and switch the menu to NOTES and type a note while talking on speaker phone? Any third party app that would allow you to record conversations??

Windows Mobile doesn't have a built-in "NOTES" application. You can install a third-party one. I don't see any reason why you couldn't type stuff in while on speakerphone/headset.

AFAIK there aren't any applications that allow you to record conversations because that part of the phone isn't accessable programatically.

Boy I love that feature on my T610. It works great and records just simple stuff, like reservations, directions, phone numbers, appointments......

Sure wish they come out with a 3rd party fix to allow recording conversations.
