I have a K7 Rave and am looking for a belt clip and car charger. There are tons of auctiosn on ebay with items like this:

Anyone know if these are quality products that will work well with the phone and not cause any problems? Or should I be getting official ones from Best Buy or virginmobile.com or places like that? I don't want to spend much but also don't want to damage the phone with a cheap clip or a bad charger.

I had bad luck from an auction like that. The car charger rendered my AM radio reception unusable, and I'm not sure it was even charging. The earpiece was the only thing in the kit that I even kept.

What I ended up doing: Getting a Belkin car charger from WalMart; it was only $7 or $8, and it's been great.

I bought a car charger / belt clip combo for all of $1 (plus the $7 shipping). The car charger seemed to work fine when I plugged it in this morning. However part of the belt clip got hooked on my seatbelt and it somehow snapped the holder off of the clip part making it unusable.

Think I'll request a free replacement or my money back since the auction had High Quality written all over it (literally). Guess we'll see what happens. Usually I take it off when I'm in the car specifically so things like that don't happen.

Oh well.
