Im new to this forum, and was wondering if i could get abit of help, I got a nokia 7250i few days ago, ive got a data cable arriving in aprox 5days, however i'd like to try DL some new wallpapers, ringtones and java apps/games... can anyone paste a couple of links i go to(on my mobile wap) to download these please....

as i said im new to this forum + wap mobile so please explain as simple as possible

ok. i dont have that phone, nor have i used it. but i have nokias and always used them so here goes........go to your wap browser. then go to go-to-address. then type in the address and go to the site. its self-explanitory from there. just follow the site to what you want and wala!

attached will be a list of free wap sites that you can download for free. some of those sites let you upload for free to. upload = take a picture from your computer and send it to them, then download to your phone. try this out and let me know if it helped you any.

Thanks mate, yeah its helped - i have few new tones and wallpapers... I havnt yet found out how to get java apps yet... thats because i havnt tryed - hehe - going to try now =)

Ive downloaded a file(25meg) from a p2p program, of Java Apps + Games... They are .jad / .jar files, I put them on my web site(ftp) and i go on my mobile WAP to my website/ftp... and it says the file isnt readable... or something similer.

Anyone know what files types i need to put on my website for my mobile to read them as apps/games?

Because i dont have a Datacable(yet) i cannot directly transfer them from-to / pc-phone.

yeah the phone will read .jar/.jad, at least my friends site does. i go to it and my phone see's the jar/jad and i can then d/l if i wanna.

If you see the jar/jad files... I goto that url via mobile phone, click on the jar or jad files, and it says..

try going to a different site. check thet wallpapers section and look for ace.uk. they have sis and jar/jad files. with papers and logos. they are fast and reliable.

mate, jar and jad files are used on computers as well for programs written in java
