I need some help creating ringtones.

I followed the details outlined in the sticky by Lenahan2001 but something seems to be wrong.

I created a file using the directions exactly and I end up with two files in my directory. One is the MP3 and the other is something with a *.sfk extension.
The MP3 is approx 2.7 megs... or at least thats what the directory says... from what Lenahan's sticky indicated it shouldnt be over 400k or so.
I only took 30 seconds of the song in question.
Also I have vocals on the ringer.... is that supposed to happen ?
Am I supposed to change it to a *.midi at some point ??

HELP !!

No you don't need to change it to a .midi file, you can leave it as an mp3. However, you want the song to BE 30 seconds long, not CUT 30 secs. In the end you want a 30 sec MP3 clip saved at 64kbps. This should make your file size be at around 400kb's. Don't worry about the .sfk thing, it is always there, I think it is some type of soundforge file.

Hope this helps you!!
