Yes i did, its all black, OEM, and hard to find. Harder than the white one. I bought it for 14 $ in thailand. The white one was only $9. Its so awesome

mrthaiguy, did you get an all black keypad?

it's here in HK too... real real real all white or all black costs $40 cdn some places! fake "sui foa" replicas cost $40 hkd... or about $8 cdn.

i assume that mrthaiguy got a fake one, otherwise his price was amazing.

there are keypads, but only the outside rows of buttons are black, the ones in the middle are white still.

mrthaiguy: do they have all black buttons with the chrome ones for arrows/talk/end like a real OEM keypad? i asked around and they told me that real OEM ones didn't exist (all black) only black on the outside rows.

i forgot the name of it but when i buy one i'll post up the actual name. like how every one calls the white one pearl white or whatever when it is in fact called (according to nokia) "frost" though here in hk it seems to be called "glacier" or something like that.

i went to the mall today, and yes, they do make OEM black keypads with white in the middle, but i didnt but them since the faceplate front is bluish, so i just use the blue keypad it comes with. I have also seen the all black/chrome ones, but i dont think they are OEM.

In HK, they're all called glacier, which would signify fakes. My buddy was there a while back and he checked all the so called OEM 8310 faceplates and they were all called Glacier! The only real glacier is the one I have on my phone (check the Avatar). I got that in Greece, not a knockoff.

when the 8390 first came out, the all white on nokiausa.com was called "frost" i'm pretty sure.

also, the ones in asia are "special edition" but are badged with official nokia and are also certified with special tape (which i believe means they are real) though i too suspect that it is all, in the end, fake.

the oem (the claim) black is all black mrthaiguy... black outside, smokey black inside.

did yours come in a nokia box? what was it called? how's the quality?

its real, i had the nokia store check it for me....... Its darkish blackish blue on the front clear part. Then smoky around the edges and on the backplate.

that's pretty much what mine looks like... mine is certified hk product (has some sticker sealing the packaging).

If u want them face plates goto singapore or malaysia and u get every single colour of them suiting 8290/8260 and 8390 4 $2.50us

They got every single conversion u could think of but i wouldnt go there jus for mobile stuff

Is it possible to separate the transparent part of the front plate from the non-transparent part and recombine the 3 parts, then you can get the OEM solid cominations? All you need now are the keypads.

For example:

Thermal + Dusk = Black/Dark Grey
Tranquil + Dusk = All baby blue
Sunrise + Eternal = All Pink + All Yellow
