So, I have had my BB 7230 for two weeks now, and being the technical geek that I am, I have pretty much explored all the available functionality and have a pretty good grasp of it all.

BUT, I am stumped in a few areas, and I haven't been able to find answers to my question doing a forum search. So, here goes!

1. My deleted folder on the BB is always empty, even immediately following deletion of an email on the bb. I have deleted items on the web client, but it appears that the only deleted items on the web client are those I deleted on the web client, not on the BB itself. If I delete an item, why is it not showing up in the deleted items folder?

Here are my settings for web client (no BES for me, but I am using desktop redirector at work):

- wireless reconcile on
- delete on mailbox and handheld
- conflicts: mailbox wins

I can file items successfully to file folders I've created on the web client via the blackberry without any problem.

2. When I "Save a message", is it just adding it to the saved messages area in addition to my mailbox on the BB? Is that all it does, or is there another reason to save the messages? Why would you use this instead of just filing the message in a folder? What is the point of the Saved Messages folder? I am obviously missing it right now.

3. Is there a way to have an online data store of filed messages that the bb could reference instead of storing it on the BB itself? Right now I have folders in the inbox, but the items in these folders are currently residing both on the BB and on the BWC account. Eventually I will hit the 10MB BWC limit I'm sure. Will I then have to archive the messages to a different medium and then lose BB access to them? It would be nice to have "online access" to items so that you could only pull them down to the BB when you wanted to view them.

i also notice deleted items is always empty but other folders i've created are synced properly. is this the way it's supposed to be? I am using an exchange server account and BES
