compaq ipaq wireless pack

i hear compaq is supposed to release its ipaq wireless pack to the u.s. this month. does anyone know which service providers will support it? i've only heard voicestream's name pop up. also how is this supposed to compare with the audiovox thera and voicestream's t-mobile pocket pc phone? any help will be greatly appreciated as i am debating between a pocket pc phone and a handspring treo 300 (i have sprint pcs right now).
