Ok, so I'm a little new at this, but I have successfully sent "seed" files to my Audiovox 8900 and also successfully replaced/overwritten them with BitPim.

What I was wondering, was, how do I send animated backgrounds/wallpapers to my phone??

I tried to send an animated .GIF file, but it would only appear as a still picture. I also tried changing the .GIF extention to a .SAF extention, and my phone wouldn't even accept it.

What am I doing wrong?? Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!

which folder are you putting it in?

Well, I sent the seed .GIF files using vzwpix.com. All three were tiny .GIF animations. When I received them, I saved them to my Media Gallery, but they all saved in Images folder...not the Animations folder. Any suggestions??

Don't use vzwpix.com to send ani gifs, vzwpix.com screws them up.
Use Outlook or Yahoo mail etc to send.

Thanks! That worked!

The crazy thing about that, is, that is how I tried sending the .SAF files, and it didn't work...so, I didn't even try the .GIF files. DUH!!
