ok i just got the SE47, and i bet this is a dumb question.... i searched the forum.

can you send new wallpapers/backgrounds to the phone without a cable? perhaps over the internet or something?

The only official way to do it is just that...
Using and Paying for the "Get it Now" application called Pictavision.
I believe you upload the pics to a website and then they will show up on your phone.

You're a lot better off getting the cable, and then using one of the home-grown software apps (Gagin,etc.) to do it yourself.

I've done neither as I don't even have the phone...but this is how verizon works.
