Some .PNG images crash the phone?

I sent over an image I got out of glocks zip... worked fine, I took an image that I had taken with my digital camera, sized it to the exact size of glocks files and saved it as a png file-- sent it to the phone using BitPim just like before and the phone rebooted itself... out of no where. Came back up, image was there, I selected it-- no worries.

I changed it back to glocks, then back to mine-- upon trying to open mine it rebooted again-- but was fine afterward. I deleted the image.

What causes this?

I uploaded a few more that worked fine, then one last one that was just a black image with a box I created to frame the time/date stamp-- the phone doesn't reboot when you try to select this image, it just locks up-- have to pull the battery to unfreeze. I'm really boggled with this.

Bump, anyone had this issue

how did you copy .png's to the phone? I used Bitpim and saved the png to the /brew/shared/images and I can't find the picture on the phone.

thanks

I bet you skipped the step that takes you to the manage apps option.

You mentioned that you used a pic from your digital camera for your png file...when you resized it to fit, did you also reduce the resolution? Your camera probably takes photos with 240-300 dpi, and I find that my phone will only work with those that are 72 dpi. That might me your problem.
