Is there a way to have Aol Aim on my nextel i730
Posted by: keolu
you can use aim on the wireless web
if you have totalconnect then you can use airIM.
the wireless web one is good enough, the URL is
http://wim.aol.com/?service=nextel

u would need a subid on your phone. if you dont pay for internet now all u have to do is call CS and ask them to add pay as you go text message onto your account. after that get your subid and then go to iamslow.com (yes thats a real site). like keolu said send yourself an netalert with the adress http://wim.aol.com/?service=nextel
if you have any other questions you can email me.

use www.tekniwap.com and send yourself the default tekniwap net alert, then on your phone, goto the net alert you just sent yourself, which is the tekniwap homepage. from there, go to "web sites", then "isp's and search engines", there'll be a link to aim from there

So when I do this with the aim will I get charged anything or will it use minutes????
And do you know of any other sites you can go to using the netalert thing??

Is it worth the $5.00 that nextel charges for AIM?
Also if you pay the 5 bucks and have two way express are the instant messages free?

you can do that, your instant messages on aim will be free.
but if you use a lot of text message, you could pay $7.50 for text messaging premier, you'll get unlimited text messages. aim wont be included in your homepage, but you can send youself a net alert and use it with no charge

Help!
I sent the tekniwap alert thing to my phone and everything works but...
Does this use my minutes at ALL...I mean can anything browsing or being on AIM use my minutes?
Are you sure aim instant messages are free to send and receive?
Do ANY of the messages - net alerts, browser messages, etc - that tekniwap sends to my phone cost money on two way message express?
Basically is using tekniwap and AIM free and not using my minutes?

But does anyone have a copy???
