Date Code Explanation

Just thought this might come in handy to some people. If you don't have the service menu code (ie: like the 8390) you can check the manufactured date of the phone by just looking at the label on the phone that is underneath the battery. Just look at the line that has the text "CODE:". This will be 6 or so numbers, followed by two letters. The letters signify when the phone was manufactured. For example, your code has 0123456 JI; this means the phone was manufactured October 2001. The method to decipher this is simple.
J means October (tenth letter, start from A)
I means 2001.
So for a phone that was manufactured say March 2002, the code would have CJ in it. Simple and can come in handy to some people.
