Hi all I've been searching all day and can't seem to find what i'm looking for. I have the Audiovox 8900 with ussc, and a radioshack lg6000 data cable. I download cids program and bitpim 7.8 and everything works great got new ringtones and all. My question is I would like to use my phone as a modem to access the web. How and what all do i need to do this. I've downloaded the future dial drivers for lg 6000 and can't get it to work as a modem, also tried the curitel drivers, but my phone isnt being recongized as a modem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Keep searching you'll find answers. This thread in particular Roxie's post helped me connect my phone as a modem on my laptop: http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...15&pagenumber=2

Ok here is my progress. Thanks for the link. I got my computer to recognize my phone as a modem, and it actually trys to call out using the verizon software, even though my phone is though us cellular. The probably is that my phone says DC unavailable. I tried a couple times and one time it actually sounded like it was connect but could not hold the connection. My phone is on analog roam, is this the problem. Any help again would be greatly appreciated.
Also does anyone know anything about RPI wireless. I order some downloadable software from them, but can't get it to download. Is that site a scam? Here is the link to it.
