Software Update

I've heard that I may need a software update on my Kyocera 2235. Before I head to a Verizon store, is there a way to pull up the software version on the phone? I could do this on my motorola 270. Anyone know how to retrieve this info?

Thanks,
Greg

Enter 111111, then press OK, then select Version, and OK again. This works on the 2255, and now that I think about it, I think it was the same for my old 2700 (or whatever the Bell version of the phone was!).

I did end up getting my Firmware updates to JS1.0.35 (Bell Mobility).

Does anyone know if this is the latest version?

Thanks!

GG

Thanks. I found the software version and I have the old one. I'll have to see if my local store has the new version.

Thanks,
Greg

I just got a 2235 this past Saturday and the newest version is now 1.0.45. Dunno when this version came out or what it changes from previous versions, but its what my phone came with. Just for the record, I got it from US Cellular here in Knoxville, TN.
