I still havnt bought another case/cover for my slider because I dont want to have a battery that doesnt match. So until I get get one that is the whole case, including the battery, I wont be trying to accomplish this mod.

Try ebay. They are selling housing for a penny. just search se47 faceplate. That's were I got my red one a few months ago. I like the contrast from silver to red between the battery, lcd cover, and the actual faceplate. But if you want the battery to match they also sell those on ebay.
