I have a Nokia 6600 with me and I have a software to make back up of contacts called CONTACT MANAGER. IT makes a CSV file and now I just buy my new P900 now could some one help me where to get the contact manager software or a way to extract that CSV file in P900. ?

Import the CSV into Microsoft Outlook, then sync with the phone.

I tried this but it always says An error has occured while reading file , please make sure that file is not in use.
as I did a restart to my PC so many time.

Aren't contacts stored on the sim card?

Thats what I thought.

If not, I'm in trouble. I have a 3650 and I'm about to get a p900 Friday and I'm selling my 3650 the same day. I guess I better figure something out...

Use SmartVCard. It works.

Using SmartVCard, choose an option to save as *.VCF file. Save it to the phone and then get this file trasferred to your new P900 (bluetooth, infra-red, or sending it to PC and then to the phone - whatever works for you). When on P900 just find this file using File Manager (not a built in one, or you'd have to make sure that it's in some specific location - the built-in Fale Manager can only see some folders, not all of them). So, find the *.vcf file and click on it. You'll be asked something like: "128 contacs have been found in the file. Do you wish to import them to your address book?". That would be it. I didn't do it with a Nokia, but it worked for me when I needed to just restore my contacts after flashing my phone.

Sorry guys , I sent the P900 back to the vendor.
Not happy with that, I think will stick with my Nokia 6600 and will buy one Motorola MPX200 or some Smart Phone

why don't you just bluetooth them over?

you can send all via bluetooth and the p900 will receive and store as vcards.
