I just got my mpx200 which was said to be unlocked yet when i stuck in my cingular sim card its asking for an "unblock" code.
What should i do?

The phone must still be SIM locked.

Unfortunately you will have to pay for it being unlocked. The best place to unlock the MPX200 is http://www.imei-check.com/

I guess my phone is, "hard-locked" and it's asking for the PUK and password twice. is there any way around this?

hey doesnt PUK mean that the SIM is now locked as well

I think the PUK code might be needed for the SIM itself.

Try your SIM in another phone and if it doesn't work contact your network provider and ask them for the PUK code.

The sim works fine in my t610 on cingular, so its not that.

yeah it seems it needs to be "Re-unlocked"...

now do you know anyone who can do it...

there's gsmliberty, but i don't have a computer right now to do the unlocking myself. where should i post to ask if someone will do it for me? (if i pay them that is).

as martin4058 suggested, you should use http://www.imei-check.com. it's by far the fastest unlock service (today) for the MPx200.

But as i stated, i dont have a computer to do it with.

as cortez and martin4058 suggested you'l need to go to http://www.imei-check.com , find a friend with a computer(friends are good), This EXACT thing happened to me. I went to http://www.imei-check.com and got my unlock code. I was really worried bacause I attemted to unlock it several other ways and then it told me to enter the PUK code. All this is asking for is the unlock code (from http://www.imei-check.com) and to create a new password. It worked like a charm. That is the only way I would recommend doing it. Otherwise you could pay someone here to process this for you and send you your code.
