so I heard verizon people talking about a new firmware update for the 8900. I am on USCC and my s/w version is T095UC2T25_0.196 .
Is there new firmware for my phone? When I called a tech center some lady who obviously new nothing answered.
I asked if there was a firmware update for my phone. She said, "a what?". I said, "firmware." she said," what?". I said, "software update." She said, "what phone?". I said, "8900."
She did not bother to ask what version I had; just put me on hold. 30 seconds later she comes back on an says, "no." I asked if there will be one soon. She said, "no."
Before I go calling other tech centers(like the ones in the suburbs not in the city) I would like to know that there is one even avaliable.

Yep there is T095VEDM03_5.189 - That is for Verizion
