Hello guys, I am having problem using the bitpim. I uploaded few pics in bmp format to the phone and now can't delete them. the pics contains nothing in it at the moment but the names still show under this sequence menu > 7 > graphics. There is an option to erase single and all pics in it but it don;t work with these 3 i have there, i used bitpim to delete them too but when i upload the pics to the computer it shows no pictures in other words it detects no pics. not even the names of the pic, but on the other hand the names show in the phone with nothing in them.

Can someone help to delete these. Thanks

you deleted the pics from bitpim right? Never do that! alway s delete from your phone.

Here is how you fix it...

Put the files in question BACK on your phone through bitpim. After that, delete them from the phone USING THE PHONE!!!

restart and you should be all set.

i have tried that before, it don't work, what it does is just duplicate the name of the file and put a new pic in the phone which i can delete but he origianl one still remains and can't be deleted.

That's not really necessary. Just use BitPim to browse the phone's file-system, and delete all the .map files in the /download/dloadindex/ directory. Then turn your phone off and back on.

All the .map files are re-generated at power-up, and any images that are no longer stored on the phone will not be added to the new .map files.
