Originally posted by 100thMonkey I sure hope so, I liked the P800, but UIQ doesn't really have the variety of productivity apps to make it strong competition against PPC and Palm. I mean, when the P800 came out, it was a smartphone and the convergence was cool...but now they need to get serious effort into app development...and add GSM 850 and EDGE |

Originally posted by mobilezen I have a real terrible keyboard I'm using. ![]() Blackberry is made by RIM. Many corproations use blackberry devices. I think the successor is going to be the P1000. I recaled SE was going to make a smaller scale P800 but never happened or maybe it'll be announced. Who knows. |

Originally posted by mobilezen tine? clusterphobic? LOL. ![]() I'm getting my P900 in 2 days, can't wait. It'll be my 2nd time...long story. S700 will be an amazing phone and the biggest contrast between that and the P900 is the ability to install fully featured programs. In the case of the S700, you'd have to install java apps. Looks like a tempting device though, but I need my apps and to be able to keep in touch with people other than by phone and sms abilities.

Originally posted by 100thMonkey its the interface, all Symbian phones are based on Symbian Operating System, but there are different looks or appearences that can be put on it. SE and BenQ and Motorola use UIQ. Nokia and Siemens use Series 60. Nokia also has made Series 80 and Series 90. UIQ allows for the use of touch screen and the way the screen looks. S700 won't use Symbian OS (hence no UIQ). Yup, RIM makes Blackberry email which is also known as a type of push email. Basically, email comes super fast. Its is jokingly known as Crackberry because it is so fast. |
