P900- Internet Won't Work!!

O.K. here's the problem. I came over from the T-Mobile Sidekick. I have the Unlimited Data Plan for Sidekicks on T-Mobile. So on my Sidekick I could go to any website, not just wap. Also I got email sent to me from my T-Mobile account at tmail.com.

Anyway, I can't go to the internet. Before someone tells me to go to the UIQ Info forum and use the T-Mobile configurator, I already have. I sent the settings to my phone and it says "activation denied"

Anyone have any ideas? I've switched around the "preferred" internet profile, played with it a lil, and nothin happens. Whats going on?

Also, I haven't begun to try and configure my e-mail yet, so don't worry about that, but if you got a quick solution for that, may as well post it lol. I know it doesn't work cause every night I get a particular e-mail and I didn't get it today.

Though some features of the Sidekick are better(AIM) overall it's still a great phone so far!

Forgot to mention- When I rebooted the phone and tried to launch the internet program it said:

Program Closed
Program WatcherMainThread
Reason code MSGWATCHER
Reason number -1

I went out and went back and its sayin "Activation Rejected" when I try to go to websites.

Also my brother's works fine on AT&T Wireless, and he didn't have to configure it or anything. He used to have a 3650.

This is frustrating.

Your Sidekick rateplan is provisioned for the T-Mobile Sidekick only. Your Sidekick is constantly connected to the web and allows for you to be online 24/7. With the P900, you just have to be on a regular rate plan with data. I know it sounds weird as both of them use GPRS to connect but it connects to different servers so to say.

I got the same message before when trying to open web page using "internet config.", but now I just use my Tmobile GPRS to surf the web. I'm using GPRS to surf both the internal browser and Opera browser. Goto Sony Ericsson web site and under support get the config. for WAP.

I dunno what happened, but Opera works! As some of you know I just got the phone on Fri., well today I put Opera on the phone, and the web works! I'm surfin like crazy! lol wow I dunno what else changed except me putting the phone on "GSM Only" but I think the default browser still is not working.

If Opera works, that's all you need. Default browser does not fit whole page onto screen, you'll have to scroll left/right plus up/down to see everything, kind of annoying.
