Here's one of the few eBay auctions for the phone:

$559 does seem a little high for this phone, considering it's missing several of the features that the GX32 has. For the record, this seller (x1387) is reputible.

It does have 32MB of internal memory, so I guess that sort of makes up for the lack of a memory card slot.

yeah that price is a bit high...consider you can get a GX32 with that much money...
if you have a friend in HK...ask them to get it for you...n830 costs about $500 in HK...

and 1.3MegaPixel does take good pictures...×××× reviews

if it had the expandable mem slot...it'd be a better phone than the gx32- the only knock is that it's BIG and i mean BIG

Yeah it's a pretty big phone, the exact same size as the N820.

I really thought the price would be lower since it doesn't include a memory card slot, bluetooth, MP3 player and/or MP3 ringtones.

the price N830 is selling for in HK is $3880HKD (<$500USD)...but then those sellers importing them have to make the cost up somewhere...
the result? We out-of-asia buyers always pay more!

no memory expansion and bluetooth kills it for me..id really push my luck to just buy the phone, definitely dont want to pay for a darn data cable..

Well the price has gone down to $518. That's pretty fast considering it was $50 more just a couple of days ago.

I like the style of the Nec better than the Sharp, but I wish it had bluetooth. Also, on the link of ebay on the top of the page, anybody have info on that lg g7070---it looks pretty slick.
