Hey I got a 8900 and a cable to plug into my computer.

Iv heard that you can play actual songs off your cell, how do you do this? I read a post on here and got all the steps done but when I tried to change the file name to a .mid it still was (Songname.mid.MP3) how do I just convert it to .mid to trick that RingToneTool V1.1 program so I can upload it to my phone via the cable.

Pretty much what I want to know is a easy to understand meathod of putting a MP3 onto my phone so I can use it as my ringer.

Also how would I use a animated GIF for my background of my phone, what about a normal pic?

Alright I just changed the EXTENSION of the .mp3 to .mid and it said "this file might become unusable" or somthing like that...is that right?

Now what, I dont have a email on my phone but I have one of the connector cords hooked up to my computer, how do I feed this into my phone now?
