looks pretty good, not too fond of the white rims though.

what kinda numbers does the car put down?

Posted by: Skylinepilot

I doubt they sell turbo kits off the shelf for that car, please tell me they do. Otherwise that looks like a lot of hardwork which means a lot $ for a... uh.... Sonata?

Posted by: phatroyale

check out his post in the "What car do you drive?" thread... theres supposedly a turbo mitsu engine under the hood

Posted by: Turbo Hyundai

Everything is cutom made. My buddies shop www.metalexmotorworx.com did all the work on the car.
Car originaly came with a non turbo eagle talon from factory so swapping in a turbo Talon engine was no brainer. Engine is fully built with rods and pistons and everything else around it is done.
It wasnt cheap to do but my best friend is the shop owner its easier

If anyone needs a low milage used Japanese engine email me, i sell JDM engines. My site is www.a1jdmengines.com email sales@a1jdmengines.com

Ah, thats a lot more reasonable... to engine swaps.... better than just slapping on a turbo/kit IMO.

how fast is your car???

Why would you care about JDM (Japanese domestic market) parts when you are driving a Korean (Hyundai Sonata) car?

Just because you have JDM parts in your car automatically makes you cooler?

Did he ever mention slapping on JDM parts on the car?

Its a turbo talon motor that was swapped in, a 4G63 designed by Mitsubishi (was requested by Chrysler). JDM parts can be fitted in this motor as this motor goes way back and has been on talons, Eclipses, evos and more and is still used today (yes still on the evos, even the USDM one).

As Skylinepilot said, where did i say i slapped on JDM parts? Everything is custom made, from tubular turbo header, to sheet metal intake manifold, exhaust everything.

The reason i actually do care for JDM is cause i run my own business selling JDM engines and swaps. Hence why i wrote this in my previous post

"If anyone needs a low milage used Japanese engine email me, i sell JDM engines. My site is www.a1jdmengines.com email sales@a1jdmengines.com "
