Help with adobe photoschop and wallpaper!

I have adobe photoshop 7.0 and when i have a picture on here that i want to send to my phone i go in there open the pic up and chage the size but even when i send it to my phone there are still white lines around it .....does anyone know any websites that have some already the size i need for my lg vx 6000 or how to make them the right size...lmao im stupid but desperate!!help

your pic size needs to be 120x131 and saved as a bitmap (.bmp) if not, you will get the white lines.

well when i change the height the width chages and when i change the width the height changes ....so when i save it i need to rename it as a bmp ?//then send to my phone??

well yeah! thats because it has to resize proportionally. If you want it to be perfect, you need to play around with it and crop some of the image down. If you want a distorted and deformed image, uncheck the constrain proportions box, and you will be all set.
And yes, save as .bmp then upload
