P800 - possible to install English handwriting recognition input method?

My P800 (a Malaysian set) originally has English handwriting input method. I sent it to service centre for firmware upgrade and also asked them to include Chinese language support.
All I wanted was the ability to DISPLAY Chinese since most of my correspondence are done in English with the occasional incoming messages in Chinese (but the reply are always in English).
Anyway the service centre put in Hong Kong firmware for me (it has HK Chinese & English), and the handwriting recognition algo is now for Chinese only.
Is there any way to install the English version instead while maintaining the ability to DISPLAY Chinese?
I can use the virtual keyboard for input but it is too slow as I tend to poke the wrong buttons (too small for me).

I would really like to know if this is possible as well. My phone is locked to chinese input and would love to be able to get it flashed for english instead.

You can try downloading the various languages available on Sony Ericsson's website; however, each language generally takes up a bit of the little memory that is left:
