Hello all,

I need a holster and/or case for my soon-to-arrive slider.
I've read some reviews that the slider "flys" out of the holster pretty easy.
Can anyone atest to that?

I'm also looking at the OEM grey velcro case, which in the picture looks pretty nice.
Has anyone seen or used that?

I have the OEM "real" holster and i really like it. I heard that the cheap ones let it fly out but i havent had any probs with the OEM one. I got it off the net for 10 bucks

I have the OEM clip holster and have had the phone pop out a couple of times due to the fact that the thumb lever at the top is too large (IMHO) and seems to catch things. I sanded off about 1/4" or so and reshaped it a bit and haven't had a problem since. I do feel that the clip holster is at least 1/4" thicker than it could be and would be much happier with less bulk.

I have the OEM holster and have no problems with it. It swivels which makes access the phone a little easier.

I guess I could do without the swivel to gain a little closer fit to my body since the front of the phone will occassionally slide up a bit when setting down in the seat of my car and it rubs on the seat belt buckle.

Don't misunderstand, it doesn't stick out so far that I've hit it on anything else.

I've been meaning to get a holster for my Slider but so far have not found one from Verizon stores as they are always out of stock. I dropped by RadioShack and found that they are selling a transparent holster for the Slider.

Anyone had any experience on the RadioShack brand holster?

There is another thread that talks about it.
I believe someone said that it is 'after market', not OEM and that it is a bad fit.

BTW - the best place to buy the OEM holster (even though I don't have one) is on eBay.
Do a serach for 'OEM slider holster'. A few folks our selling it for $5 + $5 shipping.

I have an OEM holster/clippy thing. I picked it up for a bargain down at the metro store for 15$ :sarcasm: ! but it was kinda funny, cause i had come in a few days earlier, and he tried to sell me this aftermarket one for 15, and i said no-way, mainly because of the price, and because my phone didn't even stay in there. He told me to come on saturday, and i did... he just opened up a Slider box, and sold me the one that comes with it

i bet he put an aftermarket one back in the box

I use an Ericsson case. It is a horizontal case (follows your belt). The slider fits perfectly
