Se47 drivers?

I just got my cable today, its a radio shack cable for the VX6000.

I hook my slider up to my computer (win98SE) and it says windows has found new hardware blah blah blah. It calls it a "USB Device" and it wont accept any of the drivers I try. I've tried the drivers from the kyocera website and the Vx6000 drivers from the futuredial site.

Any ideas?

The futuredial drivers for the 6000 should be the right one. The drivers are not for the phone, but for the usb>serial converter. Did you install the drivers BEFORE plugging the usb cord in like the warning sticker says?

No; I didnt know what drivers to use.

How do I install the drivers before I plug it in next time?

Just download futuredial's drivers....when it prompts u on what phone your using select LGVX6000...then it'll tell u when to put your cable in...
