I have been looking around for the "tri" screwdriver with no success. Anyone know where I might find one?

Thanks a bunch.

Good luck finding these. They are proprietary. Perhaps you could make one by filing down a tool. Not sure, but one thing I am sure of....If sanyo wanted you to be inside thier phones they would make the tool available. Just some food for thought.

Yeah I think I'm gonna have to make one. I dont really care if Sayno doesnt want me into their phones

www.cyberguys.com

the security bits piece has the tri-screwdriver in the last
few versions of it they had, can't vouch for current.

Other option is get a regular flat head and just get it hot enough to mold the tip the way you want it

hey MATT92VR4, you'd be shock of what your local hardware store houses, i got a screwdrivr that fits the screws in my 2760 for undr $8., & i'm sure they'll be more than happy to help u. just take you're phone with u so they know what size for sure will fit.

thanks for the replies. The 2760 takes the normal hex screw. Unfortunately the Sanyos are weird. Hey, its worth a shot though. I will try the hardware store

i'd like one too.. have you found a way to make them yet?

I came across a tool catalog that had a bit called a "tri-wing" part # 660-283 $8.75
it comes with 4 bits....numbers 1,2,3, and 4.

it looks similar to the sanyo screws..but I dont know how small they are or what the actual bit exactly looks like....

maybe you can call..the number is...

1-800-426-1194 - jensen tools......

let me know..im curious to know if this is the right one.
