Any help is great, Should i try gagin instead? Also if you know how to change an mp3 to midi and have it sound the same that would work as well.

Thanks in advance

p.s i am using v.7.14 of bitpim

Try just changing the file extension to a .mp3 ext from a .mid

Posted by: Mikebegood

so i change an mp3 to a midi or the opposite?
Ps. how would i do this?

Posted by: billdo_83

mp3 > mid

rename the file name

something.mid rename it to something.mp3

You may need to disable windows hiding the filename by going to tools>folder options>view>then uncheck hide file extentions

I don't think that the extension is the problem. I have two .mp3 ringtones on my VX6000 and they have the .mp3 file extension and work fine. Mikebegood, what version of BitPim are you using? If you are using 0.62 make sure it is the modified version for the VX6000 otherwise you will see problems. I don't know if the 7.0 or higher versions will support .mp3 or not (never used them).
