sl55 Battery life?

Can someone tell me how is battery performance of the SL55, I want the new Black Sp Ed. but heswitant to past performances of siemens battery life.

lasts only a day for me, considering Im a heavy user, the illumination eats a lot of power

It is just the backlight which eats your battery. I'm not a heavy user and usually my battery last about a week. Plus, it charges in no-time (about half an hour)
