I have hit the wall of 20 ringtones on my cell, but even if I can not put more on; how do I get rid of the default ringtones? I hate them!!

delete them...

When you turn the phone back on, they may or may not be rebuilt. Mine don't, but some people say that their's do.

In any case...

Delete them using the phone's built in delete method. Just highlight them, hit options, erase, erase.

Works like a charm. Why would you want to delete dream sequence? It's like uber perfect to wake up to.

I am thinking more along the lines of likr rnger 1, ringer 2, prelude; those ringtones. Yeah dream squence is okay, but hey ya is better.

There are only five you can delete.
beethovens_fifth
dreamsequence
ode_to_joy
rainforest
train

All other ringers on the phone are part of the flash, and can not be removed. You could try uploading them to different directorys and deleting the map files. (though, that may destroy your ringer IDs...)

There's a thread somewhere around here which shows how to get up to 70 ringers on the vx6000.
