I'm 25, never had a landline. Used Nextel with free incoming calls for four years as a house phone, now using t-mobile. Hope to keep up my record of *never* owning a landline. Anyone else in the same situation?

I hope you both enjoy brain cancer... I hear its nice this time of year

This would be a different brain cancer than what you'd get as a mobile phone user?
Since moving to my new house I've been landline free. The only drawback is when the Mobile phone battery is completely tapped and can't be used while charging. Otherwise, no need for a landline.

I'm 25 as well and have never had a landline. In fact, my parents got my sister and I mobiles back in '94 so we could leave the modem connected without getting a second line.
My Cantel Amigo was if I recall correctly $19.99/mo + $10 for unlimited early eves/weekends with 50 daytime.
I can't see any need for a home phone; never been bothered by telemarketers.
But I have great reception, I suppose that would be a limiting factor for some.
Have a good one,
Adam
