Problem with z600 Bluetooth!

I just bought a SE Z600 and a hbh-35 bluetooth headset, first I was able to use it with the bluetooth headset, and then later on the phone couldn't detect the device at all. I checked the bluetooth light on the phone and the bluetooth headset, and they were both on. Can someone please help me with this problem. I would appreciate anyones help.

I had the same problem with my Jabra BT250 headset i just deleted the headset from the bluetooth sync and re-synced them from scratch and it worked.

Hope this helps and works for you.

I deleted the HBH-35 file from the bluetooth, and tried to make the phone search for the bluetooth headset, but it says no handsfree detected. Can anyone else help me please.

maybe you forgot to activate the "find me"-option in your bluetooth headset.

If not try yor headset with another phone. If this also won't work maybe your headset is broken down.

It also could be that your bat is low.?!

flamingtyper,

You may wish to get upgrade your firmware on your headset to R2B. We had headsets with R1A with the same problem on the Z600, and T610/T616 phones.

Delete the pairing on your Z600, and set the headset to pair (blinking red/green lights). Next, add new device on your Z600, but instead of having the two right next to each other, try to separate them by at least 1 meter. Your phone should now detect the headset and pair with it. Sometimes it will show up as an "Unknown Device" rather than "HBH-35." If this happens, turn off the headset and start the pairing process from scratch until it shows as "HBH-35."

I hope this helps.

flamingtyper: same sort of problem happened to me .. i tested out the phone with several other BT devices and it couldnt find any of them (even after a Master Reset and a lengthy, but useless, troubleshoot w/SE techs)..

i ended up having to get my phone replaced....let me know if you got yours working and if so, how..

I have R6C005(?) firmware and I lost my BT headset once this morning so far.. other than that, it's working great.. it happened when my motorola hs820 headset ran out of batter during the call.. I couldn't find it on my device or headset option in bluetooth, so I just re-added it and it works, but is it just me or z600 can not able to transfer the sound of keypad and ringtones to the bluetooth headset? I'm getting annoyed that I can not hear the keypad sound or ringtone play while I'm not talking on the phone...

yup .. its true .. there is only the generic ring-tone (depending on headset) .. there is no transfer of ring-tone/dialpad-tone to headset.

maybe in the next firmware release?
