Some VERY useful downloads.....

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Thanks to codezero2003 for allowing me to upload these files for all to share.....These files are the entire "Super CD" that is being sold on ebay, so why buy it, when you can "share it" right?

This CD includes:

- about 10,000 ringtones
- roughly 5000 wall papers
- applications for your phone
- -pplications for your computer
- java games for your phone (which I have no idea how to load)
- and much much more

http://audiovox.digital-k.net/AudiovoxCD/

And just for the hell of it I decided to post the .mmf converter w/ keygen so that you can enjoy the ringtones in the 4500 more ringtones folder and download .mmf files and make them work on your phone.

Hell yeah! That works for me I have not tested it on the 8410 but it "Might" work... Also I got a copy of the "Real" software from audiovox I will upload it to a site sometime soon... im out of town for like 1½ days, so when I get back it will be done, for those who want it.

double post o_0

Very nice!!! but it would be much easier to download and install if you made the cd a zip file, that way it's a one click download and the original directory structure would be retained.

Posted by: 1337Vox8410

I like to see it in .iso

Posted by: CodeSplice

As long as we're expressing preferences over what format the CD should be hosted in...

I like it how it is

I'm stuck on 56k at my home, so being able to pick and choose what to download is a major bonus.

Thanks for the goodies!

Posted by: DrOoPeE

I chose to upload the CD in individual files so that

A: it would not rape all the bandwidth from the site....
B: it would allow for people to get individual files as opposed to the full cd....
C: People on low bandwidth can prosper from the upload....
and D: Not everyone wants all the programs or ringtones....

that was my thinking on the subject, however, I can make the files in any format that you want..

Bloody moaners.

So I say this on behalf of everyone who downloads:

Thank you

Seriously guys, -DrOoPeE has gone out of his way to upload this stuff for you and you dare complain...

To you lazy mofos - there are ways/programs out there that allow you to download the whole directory with a few simple clicks. www.google.com

Posted by: CodeSplice

Good point, Kanz.

One such program (for those interested) is wget:

Linux version - http://www.gnu.org/software/wget/wget.html

Windows version - http://www.interlog.com/~tcharron/wgetwin.html

I haven't used the Win version yet, but if you're gonna try to use the Linux version, be comfortable with the command line.

Posted by: 1337Vox8410

Your right, but did I complain? NO, in fact I think I posted someting in a different thread!

Posted by: pimpn247

I hope i dont get flamed for this... but on the 8900, can we use any of the games on this cdrom, if so how? I know its a Brew phone and I thought they all had to be downloaded... Even the instructions on this cd says to download them but yet there are games on this cd? Im assuming for use with other Audiovox phones??

Posted by: 1337Vox8410

Some guy posted that he added a game via BitPim by adding it to the download section of brew and then accessing Get It Now (GAGIN...I think). He stated that the game worked, but I have never tried the games so I could not tell you, all you can do is try.

Posted by: rjacobs71

Friggen in-greats, they make my blood boil! Thanks for the freebies!

Posted by: RandyD123

Seems as though your instructions.html is an exact copy of my site, at least your not using my bandwith.

Posted by: DrOoPeE

Sorry, like I said, all these files are from the Super CD that is being sold on ebay....maybe you should contact the seller on thier and make sure that he knows that he is making a profit off of it without your permission. If you want, I can take the instructions.html off the site. Sorry if it has upset you.

Posted by: alexosten

Hi all,

it seems the link doesn't work. Could you re-upload the file(s)

Thx

Alex

Posted by: DrOoPeE

Well, it appears to me that his bandwidth has been exceeded.....nothing that I can do about that unless someone elso would like to offer up some space to host the file

Posted by: RandyD123

At least you replied to me. No problem. If it is being sold on e-bay I would have a problem with that. Can you post a link for me?

Have a good day!

Posted by: DrOoPeE

Here is the link for the item on ebay that I purchased....if you look at his items, that super disk seems to be the main item that he is selling, so I would believe that you have some right to the proceeds I would contact ebay regarding this issue.......

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...me=STRK:MEWN:IT

Posted by: VMSlyder

how large is the entirety of the cd....if its around 50-100 megs i can host it

Posted by: jmensah

I have alot of space on ma server and i dont mine hosting it. I will like to help so holla back.

Posted by: mitsukia

If some one wants to post a link where I can download this cd I can host it for everyone as well.

Bandwidth, what is that!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: DrOoPeE

I have made one large rar file of the entire CD.....the rar file ended up being 146 mb....so if you have enough space for it, let me know, and give me some info where to upload.....

Posted by: jmensah

Anyboday tried how many games work on 8450?

The maker of the Super CD finally chimes into the discussion.

As far as earthusers instructions, I took those off my CD long ago, I didn't obtain them from his site but when I looked and saw they were the same, I took them off.

It does seem that you are a bunch of hipocrites though. It's not ok for me to copy earthusers instructions (which by the way isnt' really what I'm selling) but it's ok for you to freely distribute my CD here?

I actually don't care how much that CD is copied. It's not like it's copywritten material or anything on there. I'm mostly selling to people that aren't savvy enough to come to the forums and look for information.

And as far as making a profit on the CD, that's a joke. I sell a CD for $6.00 which includes shipping. The cost of the CD, time to make it, time to print it, time to list it, listing fees, final value fees, packing, shipping etc. There is NO profit on this CD. I only sell it to boost my feedback rating so people will buy my "other stuff". If I profit a half a buck on it I'd be surprised. The number of those a month and I may just be able to buy a box of cereal or two for my kids breakfast. PROFIT? That's a joke.

As far as the rings and stuff... why don't you just post a link to my site up here since you have it already. Or I could do it myself. I've got alot of other cool stuff that isn't on that CD that others would benefit from.

Posted by: richweber

So post a link already (I actually bought the CD by the way.)

I didn't see any copyright info in any of the stuff people are ×××××ing about so.....

lump it you guys. It's all good. why can't we all just get along?

can anyone tell me where I can get the files?
thanks,

Posted by: DrOoPeE

I tried both of these links & neither are any good.
Were the files moved to another site? If so could I please get the link?
I had not discovered Howards back in July so I missed trying the links then.
Thanks for any help in obtaining these files.

Posted by: ShtyGolfr

Yes, sorry I took the links down. The user who posted the links wasn't supposed to make that public. I only put them online for him because the CD I mailed him got broken.

The links weren't intended for everyone. I provide the CD with my datacables on eBay.

Posted by: 4cid_fr34k

Since we decided to open up an old thread ...

anyone know any good mmf to mp3 convertor progs if so can you possible list names and links to their homepage

Ah...the almighty dollar thing, huh? I reckon I would want to get paid too.

If you would be willing to give me a zip file with all of this, I will host the more popular items on my site. Just drop me a pm, or send me an email at: admin@psnationonline.com
