First off let me say that I did not want to buy this phone. When I heard it was coming out, I had just gotten my i90c and was expecting a major dissapointment in the i95cl, much like the Sanyo 5000 and 5150 were when I had them. My problem with color screens on phones, other than battery life is the fact that they just don't get used as effectively as many would wish.

My nextel rep (titled "Dealer Manager") said he wasn't getting one either...we were going to fight the establishment together...then he bought one. Needless to say I had mine within a week...$460 gone...almost 1/4 of my monthly earnings (after taxes at least).

I have now had the phone for three days...the battery life is reprehensible. I usually need to carry a spare battery with me, although I do use the phone quite a bit more than most people. My nextel rep uses 2-4 batteries per day, which is up from the 1.5-3 he said he was using before with an i90c.

I got this phone right after the JabJal ringtone loading software became available, and at first I was dissapointed because it didn't work with my new phone (but my old i90c had 10 brand new rings on it that I wasn't getting to use). Of course you are now able to load ringtones on the i95cl, so I have to say I am satisfied with that aspect.

RF performance is good, I have better luck than with the i90c, but not by much. I should also note that I spend very little time in fringe areas to begin with, and reception is even pretty good in the mall I work at.

Overall I will give the phone a 7/10 because it is not great, but much better than what I expected.
