Possible Bitpim problem. . .

Hi,
I just bought a data cable last night for my VX6000 and I got rid of verizon wireless and downloaded some ringers, everything so far so good, but at about 2:30 am my phone which usually gets full service in my computer room went to no service, so I went and got my other VX6000 and it had little to no service also. I went into field test and both phones were at about -97 or worse. Could I have done anything to mess the phone's reception up on my phone with bitpim? My other VX6000 is unmodified and it had problems also so my guess is it is a network problem, but I called verizon and they told me that nothing has been reported, and if the problem persists to call back tomorrow.
Please help me figure out what the problem is, thank you
By the way I live in Elkhart Indiana

It would have to be a network problem. bitPIM *can* mess up your phone, but there's no way in hell it could mess up your phone, and the extra phone which has never been plugged in.
