I unlocked my Treo 600 to use on TMo but still cant get the thing to log on to the internet. I tried both the T-Mobile Internet and T-Zones preset options but get the same "error" message saying check my settings in preferences. It does show that it is trying to log on though.

I tried creating my own setting with

Connections: GPRS
User name: (Blank)
Password: (Unassigned)
APN: wap.voicestream.com

I still get the same error message saying "GPRS connection not available. Please check settings in Network Preferences"

Any help?

When you go to preferences>Network and select t-zones is it locked on the bottom with a red lock?

I was having that problem too. When I bought a treo 600 unlocked from ebay, and before I updated the firmware off of the palm site, it said unlocked. After updating the firmware it went to locked and started working. Although you have to be careful one of my friends tried this and it locked his treo, lucky for him I knew how to unlock it. Hope this helps.

it is att but i flashed it with the unlocking firmware. in the network section of preferences, the t-zones/vpn/internet options are all locked.

VPN, where do you see VPN? Mine does not have VPN what soever. Here is a good step by step for unlocking. One of my friends used it with no problems.
