What does Sony do that nero doesn't in reference to editing ring tones to the acceptable size for the VX6000?

i use sound forge, and it is VERY easy, and the fade in/out feature is nice. Just go to the site and get the trial verison, it expires after 30 days.

There are a lot more features, i just dont have any use for them for making ringtones.

Thanks Vason,
What do you do after 30 days???
I have Nero but it is a Wave editor. I was wondering if there wasd some way that I could edit the music and then maybe convert it.

I use goldwave. It rocks, and it never expires. (though it occasionaly whines at you if you use it for too long in one sitting. then you just have to close it and reopen it and you're all set.)

I have yet to hear of something that soundforge can do which GoldWave can't.

Do you have a step by step using goldwave?
Thanks

I'm gonna go with... "No... Sorry."

It's really not that hard to use. Install it, open a wave file, and read the help file. If you can use Word for windows, you should be able to operate Goldwave.
