Used it for a week now.
I would say that various reviews in this forum are quite right, the phone looks good but feels cheap (painted plastic as suppose to the metallic look). The main point is the colors, poly-phonic ring tones, and Chinese capability.
I find it searching for signals quite often - that means it's not really good at hanging on signals in rural areas (as compare to my T68i - it hangs on to signal like crazy). And because of this, reception isn't that good and in my area, if I cover the phone with my whole hand, I'll sure to get a drop call.
The other thing that bugs me a little is that it won't display "Voicestream" or "VStream" but "USA-160", which of course, is the MNC id here (20-160), but it confuses the heck out of me because what if I roam in LA? There are now 2 and soon 3 GSM providers! How am I going to tell which one I am roaming on unless it displays the full tag?
I would say if you live in the city where signal is strong, then definately get the phone. And if you're like me, whole is still a bit patriotic about Taiwan, then get it too.
I'll be playing with it for a little while (untill SonyEricsson P800 comes out) and will sell it for sure.
