USB data cable connect to LG4011..how to.

i have yet to figure out this stuff.

maybe i just thick skulled

i got USB data calbe and i installed the drivers per instructions.
ok what next?

1. what do i use to access my Computer from my Phone
2. what are the connection settings to the Cell phone so i can connect to the computer.

B. Temporary
4. Secure settings
A. None
B. Secure
5. gatway information? do i need to set this?
6. Bearer
A. Data
B. GPRS(general Packet radio service)
C. Data settings
A. Ip Address
B. dial settings
C. user ID
D. password
F. Call Type
1. Analog
2. ISDN
G. Call Speed
1. 9600
2. 14400
D. Linger time
30-300(seconds)

not like there was any instructions on the data cable or book


Plain and simple i don't know how to use my Data Cable on my Cell phone

BUMP!

ok i have to use LG contents Bank . wowzers..

to bad i bought after market USB data cable

another problem
what formats does contents bank support?

it can't see Midi files

and there was somthing about .dxm & .adp formats

can any one alberate on this

bump!

ok figured it out..

well Lg phones use SMAF files ( yamaha) .MMF

and you have to use LG content Bank to download them.( sigh!! proprietery software )


ok here is the real issue the stupid 20kb file size

i can convert an Mp3 to Wav and use Yamaha's Wave to .MMF converter but the files are to big..
like 129kb @ 6khz:8bit sampling

is there a work around, Hack the 20kb size.

i don't know about your guys but MIDI's SOUND like S***
and just F***** suck

I want to Hear . "YOU KILLED KENNY " as my ring tone or anyting else the meets my fancy.. and 20kb the above mite work but hell.



any solutions ?
