Treo 600 owners on Cingular: Audio quality?

Anyone reading my lunatic rants on the Cingular board knows I'm pretty choosy when it comes to this stuff, so bear with me...
How's the incoming sound quality like on the Treo 600 on Cingular/1900 MHz? (I don't have 850 where I live yet).
The reason I'm asking is because nearly every phone I've tried as far as I can remember has some audio artifacts associated with it. All the Nokias I've owned have that dreaded GSM "buzz" that changes pulse length depending on if you're talking or not:
*bzzzzzzzz! bz! bz! bz! bz! bzzzzzzzzzzzzz...!*
The fairly recent Samsung X427 is quite noisy, with garbled noises in the background I can't figure out.
The SE T637 was nearly silent, except for a slight scratching sound every so often.
The Motorola V400 was nearly perfect, except I could hear a very faint whine in the background. (No, it wasn't me whining about being picky about phones)
Which is why I'm using a Motorola V60gi. It is nearly silent enough not to bother me.
So, how does the Treo 600 perform? Does the backlight of the LCD make any noise loud enough to be heard during a call, for example? Can you hear transmitter interference?
