GU87 Unlocked "Searching For Network" /w AT&T Sim

I feel stupid because I just forgot how to do it, and now I cant find out how to do it.

I just sold my Unlocked Gu87 that I had been using on T-Mobile to a guy that has AT&T. When he stuck his sim card in, it just says "Searching For Network" and never actually takes his sim... When I stick mine in, it pops up and works no problem.

I think I remember a setting somewhere about setting it to automatically search for a network... Anybody know what im talking about? Or how to get this phone to accept the AT&T sim? I know it works... But its been so long since Ive messed with all that, I forgot

'menu' 7 will bring up the menu with the network search options on the GU87..

I wasnt asking about Unlocking cellphones... I was just stating that the phone is infact unlocked...

It started working... I guess it just had no signal, but it all does and did work.... Thanks for the reply's
