I can get most of the stuff listed in this forum done on my own by just plain reading what otehr people have typed. BUt I can not stand putting in my contacts on that little keypad. I have seen anywhere that I can do it with bitpim. I see it has the option, but It doesnt work with my phone. Think I read sonewehre on here that the only option that works with bitpim and the 8900 is the file system. Is there any other method to get contacts on the phone? I have looked at the phonebook file on the phone, but I dont understand all the extra garbage it has witht he actual name/number, etc.

It's my understanding that BitPim just doesn't work very well with the CDM8900... isn't Test 7 the last version that'll work period with the phone, and that only extends to the filesystem? Hopefully someone will come along with more information.
To answer your question: As far as I'm aware, if you want to put contacts in your phone you'd better get used to that little keypad. Sorry!
