How do you get rid of ringer type on the middle of the screen so it doesnt show? I want to see my pic that i have as my background, and theres "vib & high" in the middle of the screen constantly. It was gone for a while before, but I dont know how it dissappeared in the first place...and i cant find how to get rid of it in the manual. Anyone know?:dunno: Thanks.

Set the ringer to HIGH instead of VIBE&HIGH. If you need to use the vib, set the phone in manner mode. (vibrate only)

The thing is, that i used to have in vibe/high all the time...and even so, no matter what mode its in, it still displays the mode in the middle of the screen on the phone. For a while, it was gone, now its back...and I dont know how it was gone to begin with....i'd just like to get rid of it displaying what mode its in in the middle of the screen.

As far as I have seen, there isn't a hack with Bitpim for this yet. I've seen it discussed in here b4 and have an interest in it myself.

If it went away b4, u most likely inadvertantly changed the ringer.

Hopefully someone will figure something out eventually.

I hope someone will too....i dont need a reminder in the middle of my screen to know that my phone is on vib/ring
